Dear Thoar. Interesting subject, and I do agree, but only in the sense that most people tend to practice the basics forever and ever without any development. The only word I can think of similar to the spelling you provide is SHOMEN, meaning towards the front.
The word is often used i.e. as in SHOMEN NI REI, "bow to the front".
